Charles M. Schwenk was drowned in the Skykomish River on July 13, 1902.  He'd left in the morning to gofishing.  By dinnertime, there was concern because he'd not returned home and family and friends went to go look for him.  They found his fishing pole and his lunch.  He was found August 3, 1902 and buried  August 6. 1902, at Mount Pleasant.
